I had the great privilege of photographing Alex and Lucy’s wedding at the stunning Pembroke Lodge. This beautiful wedding venue will always have special as I shot my very wedding there! So it’s soo amazing to be back to photograph this beautiful wedding!

I arrived to capture Lucy who was getting ready at her parent’s house in London. Lucy, surrounded by the closest family and bridesmaids spent a lovely morning, full of joy, preparing for the day. She looked just stunning wearing a beautiful long dress. Her crown of flowers complimented to the whole look. There was a little surprise waiting for her – her uncle made an appearance in his vintage Jaguar, who would be driving her to the venue. You can imagine how happy she was that he could make it to her wedding!

Alex was already at the venue, waiting for his wife-to-be whilst chatting to all the guests that started to arrive. The ceremony was incredible,  just like the rest of this beautiful day – relaxed with lots and lots of laughter! After Alex and Ludy said the magic words ‘I do’, they headed outside, where celebratory drinks were waiting! As they walked, they were sprinkled with confetti!

Because we were so lucky with the weather, all the wedding party stayed outside, where they celebrated with the newly weds. With drinks in their hands and smile on the faces, everybody had an amazing time! As we were getting closer to the wedding breakfast, I took them away to a nearby rose garden, where Alex and Lucy could spend some time on their own and I could take some beautiful portraits.

Their speeches were awesome! They were so funny. I particularly loved the part when the best man finished his speech by dropping the mic and leaving the room, leaving everyone in tears of laughter!
